Shop Seasonal Produce and More at Monroe Street Farmers’ Market

Featured Image

Founded in 2014 near the Brookland/CUA metro stop, the Monroe Street Farmers’ Market has become one of DC’s most popular destinations for folks in search of locally-grown produce, freshly baked bread, and a variety of other specialty groceries (plus live music, local artists, and sometimes even yoga classes). As you browse this outdoor market you’ll be able to fill your bag with plump tomatoes, crisp lettuce, juicy peaches, and a couple of baguettes still warm from the oven. Like the idea of getting seasonal, farm fresh groceries from the market every week, but don’t have time to go from stall to stall making your selections? Sign up for the Market Share, a weekly subscription box filled with freshly harvested fruits and veggies from various Market vendors. You can pick up your box and be on your way in under 60 seconds.
